Our Story
Thanks to a generous gift of $500,000 to nursing Dean Cindy Fenske from Ron and Marvel Jones, to Concordia University Ann Arbor, the Center for Simulation and Innovation (CSI) was formed. CSI has spent over two years developing pioneering applications of VR and AR to enhance education in healthcare, and now more broadly in EdTech and Business. In the last 12 months, the CSI team (expanded to include our CTO Chris Raasch, formerly from Sony Creative Software) has expanded their focus to integrate gAI into their platform, and in April of 2024 spun out from Concordia to form the csiSIM™ EdTech and HealthTech startup, aiming to reshape how education, learning and training is done in educational (K12; higher education), healthcare delivery, and business settings. We have developed and filed patents on truly disruptive new technologies and released our first portfolio of products at the April 2024 APEE (Association of Private Enterprise Education) conference in Las
Vegas.
